Queertego is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a feminist community that loves, supports, and advocates for queer people in Montego Bay and Western Jamaica. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Our community is built on the foundation of love, respect and equality.
Mission
Our mission is to empower and uplift queer individuals in Montego Bay and Western Jamaica by providing resources, support and advocacy. We strive to create a society where everyone can live authentically and without fear of discrimination.
Vision
Our vision is queer people in Montego Bay having accessible third spaces where they can find connection and just be themselves. We want a community where diversity is cherished, and where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive and fulfill their potential.
