
Community Guidelines for Queertego Bay
At Queertego, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members of our community, Queertego Bay. These guidelines are designed to promote respect, empathy, and understanding among our community members.
Online and Offline Spaces:

Our spaces (including but not limited to social media groups, forums, and webinars) are intended for open discussion and connection.

We encourage active participation, questions, and engagement with one another's thoughts and experiences.

Please be respectful of others' opinions, identities, and experiences.
Respectful Communication:

Use "I" statements instead of "you" statements to express your thoughts and feelings.

Refrain from sharing personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory content.
Inclusive Language:

We use inclusive language that respects the diversity of our community members' identities (including but not limited to sex, gender, sexuality, ability, age, and culture).

Avoid using language that assumes heteronormativity, cisnormativity, or ableism.

No Harassment:

We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, or intimidation in our online spaces.

Offline Spaces:

Our offline events (including but not limited to workshops, meetups, and conferences) are designed to promote connection, learning, and community building.

Please be respectful of the physical space, other attendees, and our staff/volunteers.

Follow all rules and guidelines set by venue management or event organizers.
Respect for Staff/Volunteers:

Our staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

Treat them with kindness, respect, and understanding.

If you have concerns about an issue or incident, please speak with our staff or volunteer representatives.
Disagreements and Conflicts:

We encourage open discussion and debate within our community.

However, if disagreements or conflicts arise, please address them in a respectful manner.

If the conflict cannot be resolved through conversation, please contact our staff/volunteers for assistance.

Physical violence will be met with immediate removal from our spaces.
Reporting Incidents:

If you witness or experience any behavior that makes you uncomfortable, please report it to our staff/volunteers immediately.

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Repeated failure to comply with these guidelines may result in:

Temporary or permanent removal from spaces

Revocation of event tickets or registration

Restriction from attending future events
